Emergency Operation Surcharge (EOS) Trade Asia to USA and Canada

In order to cover expected operational disruptions at U.S. ports, as a consequence to work stoppages, strikes or other labor-related reasons, MSC announces the following Emergency Operation Surcharge (EOS) implementation, applicable to all shipments from China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia directed to U.S. East Coast, Gulf and Canada East Coast, effective date October 27, 2024. USD 1500 per 20’ container
USD 3000 per 40’ container
USD 3798 per 45’ high cube container

- PAYABLE AT DESTINATION

Unless otherwise specified, all charges of reefer and special equipment for open top, flat rack and tank containers are the same as tariff of dry cargo.
